A clinical research coordinator is the person responsible for a  clinical trial is a medical institute. This person is highly skilled, and organizedto support the investigator in managing a clinical study. Including following the study protocol,  compliance with and regulatory guidelines. 
 
Training and Certification
 
Several organizations offer certification for a CRA  position, but only the ACRP (Association of Clinical Research Professionals) is accredited and offers certification that can be used worldwide. In addition to certification, the CRA has to get a degree in Applied Sciences, at least at an Associate’s Degree level at an accredited university, college, vocational school, or trade center. Some clinics and research organizations allow learn-as-you-earn programs that allow the person to study and become certified while learning from professionals on the job in a research capacity only.
